Connecting your Shopify store has become far simpler. The new Shopify OAuth app lets you complete the integration in under a minute. **No API tokens are required, no custom app to configure** and no developer involvement.

*Note: existing integrations are unaffected. If you have already connected Shopify using the custom app method, your integration will carry on working exactly as before. No action is needed on your part.*

### What's new

- **Simplified OAuth connection**: connect your Shopify store directly with a single click. No API tokens and no custom app to create in Shopify.
- **Stronger security**: the OAuth 2.0 protocol does away with long-lived API credentials. Access is scoped, auditable and can be revoked at any time from the Shopify admin panel.
- **The same sync capabilities**: every existing feature is fully supported, including historical and real-time syncing of customers, orders, transactions, products and collections.
- **Faster integration**: connecting Shopify now takes less than a minute. Generating API tokens by hand is a thing of the past.

### How it works

1. Go to **Settings > Integrations > Shopify** and click **Connect**.
2. Enter your Shopify store URL and click **Next**.
3. Choose your import and sync preferences, then click **Save**.
4. You will be redirected to Shopify to review the permissions requested and click **Install**.
5. Once approved, you are redirected back to your account automatically and the integration is complete!
