## What are audit logs?

Audit logs are the official source for knowing who did what and when inside your Futuria CRM account. They provide time-stamped records (complete with user, module and action context) to help administrators resolve problems, maintain accountability and meet compliance requirements.

The new interface modernises the experience, letting you review details without ever leaving the main table. Audit logs provide a chronological record of key actions, guaranteeing transparency and traceability for administrators and users alike.

## Key benefits of the new audit log interface

Understanding the value of the new interface helps your team adopt it quickly and use audit logs with confidence during investigations.

- **Panel view:** details open in a right-hand side panel so you never lose your place in the table.
- **Keyboard navigation:** use the **←/→** keys to move quickly between entries while keeping the panel open.
- **Consistent components:** the new interface improves readability and reduces visual fatigue while scanning.
- **Faster analysis:** stay in context to confirm changes, gather evidence and move on without having to load new pages.
- **Greater visibility and accountability:** track every change made to users, accounts and settings to maintain a clear record.
- **Faster troubleshooting:** quickly identify and resolve unexpected changes, saving time and effort.
- **Better security and compliance:** monitor user actions to prevent unauthorised changes and ensure policies are respected.
- **Efficient user management:** keep track of user activity, including account creations, changes and deletions, for better team oversight.

## Side panel and keyboard navigation

The redesigned right-hand side panel lets you stay in context while you analyse changes. Once the panel is open, you can use the keyboard to move between records without closing it, ideal for scanning long audit trails quickly and accurately.

- **Open details in place:** click any row to open the elegant right-hand side panel with field-level before/after values, the user and the date and time, without reloading the page and without losing your scroll position.

```
Log details for notification preferences (Account)
Changes to notification preferences appear as "Updated" actions. When you open an entry, the details panel shows only the fields that changed, with their before and after values.
- First save: the audit logs record all notification preferences.
- Subsequent updates: the audit logs record only the preferences that were changed.
```

- **Navigate with the arrow keys:** with the panel open, press the **left and right arrow keys** to move to the previous or next audit record; the panel updates in place so you never lose focus.
- **Work faster, click less:** keep your hands on the keyboard to reduce mis-clicks and speed up reviews during long investigation sessions.
- **Stay in control:** close the panel with the **X** icon or the **Esc** key; you will return to exactly the same point in the table.

## Recording elements deleted from the page builder

Audit logs now create a **Deleted** entry when a user deletes saved elements in the page builder, including:

- Section templates
- Global sections
- Universal sections
- Element templates
- Universal element templates

Every deletion entry includes the **element name** and the **element ID**. This applies to elements used in funnels, websites, stores and webinars.

## Understanding the audit log filters

Each filter narrows the results so you can quickly isolate the most relevant events. Understanding what each option does helps you run checks faster and with fewer clicks.

- **User:** select a specific team member to view only the actions they performed. Ideal for monitoring individual contributions and investigating suspicious changes.

- **Module:** choose the area of the platform involved (for example, users, accounts, contacts, opportunities, websites/funnels/stores, custom objects, listings and notification preferences) to focus on the events of that system.

- **Action type:** limit the results to a type of change such as **Create, Update or Delete**. Useful for quickly spotting critical changes.

- **Time range:** limit the results to a defined period (for example, today, the last 7 days or up to 60 days) so it matches the moment the change took place.

## Exporting audit logs (CSV download)

You can export your filtered audit logs to a CSV file. Exports run asynchronously, and you can monitor progress and download completed files from the **Exports** tab.

For detailed instructions, see the guide on exporting audit logs.

## How to reach the audit logs

The new interface is live for all accounts. You can reach the audit logs directly from your account settings to view the activity specific to that area.

```
Note: audit logs for notification preferences are available only in the account-level audit logs.
```
