A property start-up platform aimed at students looking for medium-term rentals.
2019
Suitstay is a platform for medium-term rentals in Milan, specialising in accommodation for Erasmus students.
Enquiries used to be handled by capturing the contact details over email and by telephone.
Managing the flats was essentially manual: every detail was entered by hand each time, creating new pages (and therefore never quite identical ones).
That forced Suitstay to run an internal process based mainly on spreadsheets and email, alongside a "shop window" that ran through the website.

Because of what it has to do, the Suitstay website needs to be as simple, linear and easy to use as possible. The design, and therefore the whole brand identity, is built to support the functionality of the project. A minimal style with simple, clean shapes, a colour palette based on tones ranging from white to grey and a single shade of light blue for contrast supports the entire positioning.

Suitstay has a dual audience, because it depends on the right balance between demand — the enquiries from students and workers who need somewhere to live in Milan for a few months — and supply, the landlords who want to maximise their income without problems or hassle.
The advertising campaigns therefore identified the sharpest "pain" points on both sides and showed how Suitstay is the perfect answer.
We built a new website that would not be a simple shop window, but a genuine management tool for the flats.
Unique references and pre-set fields make sure all the necessary information is always there and make listings quicker to enter.
The website is also connected to the platform that manages the clients, both landlords and tenants, so the acquisition and management process can be monitored from both sides.
Suitstay moved from having a brochure website to a genuine automated platform for managing users and clients, connected to the CRM.
When a new property is added, the Suitstay operator fills in the capture form on the website and the flat is generated immediately and automatically, going live straight away.
Enquiries from prospective tenants are handled from a single platform, and a series of automated email processes covers every step leading to the signed contract: booking the viewing and collecting the documents.
What struck us most of all was the dedication and passion they brought to the project, going beyond their own existing knowledge and skills, with the appetite to discover and learn that sets them apart.
Before we started I was afraid it would be more complex than we imagined and would take longer than expected. Perhaps I also feared we would not manage to do everything we had in mind with the resources available.
I made my decision and I chose Futuria Marketing because of the trust I have in you, and because I wanted someone who would really get inside the project and become part of it. To anyone who wants to launch a similar project but still has doubts, I would suggest asking for your advice and checking the medium and long-term objectives carefully.
