Using WhatsApp as an internal notification channel

Stay up to date, even when you are away from your inbox. Futuria CRM lets you receive internal notifications through WhatsApp, giving your team real-time updates on a channel they already use every day.

What are internal WhatsApp notifications?

This feature adds WhatsApp as an optional delivery channel (alongside in-app notifications, email and SMS) for the user alerts generated by Futuria CRM. Each user can choose which events should send them a WhatsApp message, ensuring they find out quickly without having to stay logged in to the platform.

WhatsApp notifications are intended for internal users (you and your team). They highlight key updates and provide the context you need to act quickly in Futuria CRM.

Key benefits of WhatsApp notifications

  • Faster response times: real-time alerts reduce the delay between an event and your next action.

  • Greater accountability: mentions, assignments and reminders help the people responsible act without missing a single update.

  • Flexible channel mix: choose WhatsApp, in-app notifications, email and/or SMS for each event type, adapting to each user's workflow.

  • Wider coverage: receive important updates even when you are away from your inbox or your computer.

  • Granular control: enable only the events that matter to you to avoid notification overload.

Supported notification categories

Futuria CRM sends WhatsApp alerts for the same event groups already available in Notification preferences:

  • Conversations: new messages, mentions and assignments
  • Tasks: new/updated tasks, reminders, daily summaries
  • Apps and integrations: published reviews, completed purchases, calendar disconnections, and so on

Users can enable different channels (including WhatsApp) for each subcategory individually.

How to set up WhatsApp notifications

Correct configuration ensures the right people receive the right alerts at the right time. Follow these steps to set up WhatsApp notifications easily.
